Hello there! I’m Connor, Chunsoft and retro megafan, and solo writer/owner/editor for Seafoam Gaming, or SFG for short.
The tale of Seafoam Gaming goes back a long while. Longer than you may expect considering my age and the age of the current incarnation of the website.
Seafoam Gaming began as a random idea to make a community focused website, with my earliest attempt being done in the Summer of 2009. After some difficulties, the current, final pre-wordpress form of the site was created in March of 2010! Initially a free forum with the longest name on earth (Pokemon Battle Zone, despite me doing barely anything relating to pokemon there!), it turned into a game review-focused forum in 2014, thanks to the influx of newer Wii U Indie games and me seeking a desire to sharpen my writing habits by giving feedback to a lot of these developers.
Soon it evolved into a renamed forum with the current name you see now in 2015, and now a bigger WordPress website in 2016, thanks to the one who was known as FederationForce/Eric Warpjump on Twitter inspiring me to make the jump! I have no idea where Eric is now, but I hope they’re doing OK nowadays.
We’ve recently celebrated the 10 year anniversary of SFG reviews, so you can read up on more history here.
KKJDreamWalker on Twitter/DeviantArt made the Site Logo in 2016 after I commissioned them, which I have since used to make a Youtube Channel banner with it as a base, along with using the site logo as my avatar around socials in general from 2016-2024.
After over seven years in the WordPress era, and as I evolve my writing skills and work on a review queue backed up by really difficult losses in my personal life in 2019, I slowly continue to build out Seafoam Gaming to be the best sort of small, one-person review site it can be. I hope to cover all sorts of fun games, interesting retro compilations, and cool obscurities! Some of our reviews are the only ones on the entire internet for some games, which is pretty neat.

Sweet!
