So uh, this is more of a quickie post that I may even outright delete later (though i dunno if there’s any negative to keeping this up or if anyone will really see it to begin with) but shortly after scheduling my recent big status update… I got a stupid cold! First persistent one in 2-3 or more years. Yeah I seldom get this sick and my throat’s been killing me.

…Wonderful timing for a planned five day weekend to crunch on reviews only to get none done due to being constantly mad at how ill I am. So yeah, I did get to play some more games in this downtime, but since I’m not really used to even being unwell, this has been incredibly obnoxious and a weird learning experience to get this throat to heal. Big note to self: do not force yourself to crunch on a review even if your body is being obnoxious about sleeping early.

I may be able to kick out a filler review for tomorrow but I’m really, really getting a bit worried I won’t be able to get any progress toward my end of year goal for the review queue done. Trust me, I am trying. But it sure feels like bad luck keeps coming my way for productivity.
